Marcee's 7 Months Old!

Wow... Time sure flies by! As hard as it is to believe our little princess turned 7 months old last Thursday. It's really hard to think that in just 5 months we'll be having her first birthday party. She really is growing up way to fast! She's definitely not a little baby any more. She's all over the place now and is pulling up all by herself. She is going to be walking in no time. Sometimes I think she's not my child... I was just content laying on the floor. Not this one, she's full of energy! We just can't wait for it to warm up some more outside so we can get out and play. She sure loves riding in her new Cozy Coupe!

She also likes playing in Daddy's jeep... Who said JT needed a boy?!?!

Look out world, here she comes!!!

I wanna be like Mama and Daddy!

Marcee trying on her Daddy's hat... she had so much fun!

And then she decided to play peek-a-boo...

What fun!!!

Look... I can wear Mama's shoes too! I'm such a big girl!

Who knew such simple things in life could be so amuzing?!?!?

A Very Special Gift

One day this week we got home to a great surprise... Marcee had her very own package waiting at the doorsteps!!! So we rushed in and opened it right away. Once we got it open I teared up and Marcee started smiling. It was this precious baby doll from none other but my sweet Ju-Ju. Marcee loved her right away and was facinated with her bunny ears! On Christmas day Granny gave Marcee her first Madame Alexander doll and we named her Stacy... just thought it was the perfect name. We play with and talk to her every day. I think this doll from Ju-Ju will be an addition to our favorites!

Happy New Year!!!

This year the Christmas season seemed to just fly by. As wonderful as it was there were several things I didn't get around to. One of those was my tradition of making "Papa Cookies" (a.k.a. ginger snaps). So I decided to make them today with Marcee... maybe it will be our New Year tradition from now on. It was just as much fun as I remembered and I even had a little extra help...

And when they came out they looked so tempting....

So I had to give in and let her taste test one.... Papa would have!

We even put them in the same jar as Papa did when we were little! What a way to start the new year!
