How Did 9 Months Go By So Fast?!?!

That's right... Marcee was 9 months old on the 21st! It's just so hard for me to believe it's been that long since the day we brought that tiny little girl home.

We went in Wednesday for her 9 month check-up and got a great report. Marcee now weighs 21.15 lbs. and is 28 1/4 inches tall. And... she's no longer in the 90th percentile for everything. We've moved down to the 75th! Woo hoo! :) She can now start trying some table food so we're really excited about that!


These pictures were actually taken on the day of her doctor's appointment right after we got home. This is her adorable "fun" Easter outfit.

We're so thankful for a healthy, happy little girl! She's such a blessing and makes my life complete. I have no idea who I would be or what I would do without her...

Easter Dress Sneak Peak

We had Future Citizen pictures this week so Granny and her amazing sewing amigos had several emergency sewing sessions in order to finish Marcee's Easter dress early. Well they did and it is absolutely beautiful!!!

I wasn't going to post any pictures before Easter but I just couldn't resist!

She just looks so pretty in her dress.

Speical thanks to Me Mama for keeping Marcee during all the sew days so the dress could be made, to Granny for making the dress, and to Miss Kay, Miss Prissy, and Aunt Jane for all their help! Marcee's first Easter will be even more special because of all of you. We love you all so much!

Marcee's First Outdoor Adventure

Sunday afternoon we took Marcee out to Rosebud for her first afternoon in the woods. She loves to be outside so she was so excited... she's definitely our child!!!

She loaded up with Daddy Craig and Granny and was ready to ride! I'm still not sure who had the most fun but I'm betting on Daddy Craig...

We stopped for Daddy Craig to lead us on a "short" walk through the woods.

We decided to take some pics of Marcee since it was her 8 month birthday but she wasn't really in the mood to smile. This is actually one of the better ones. :)

Although the pictures by herself didn't turn out great this one did! It's too sweet and looks great in black and white! JT's such an amazing Daddy... Marcee and I are really lucky!

A Picture Perfect Valentine's Day...

Wasn't Marcee just precious on Valentine's Day?! She was so cute in her special outfit Granny made her. Yes, I realize I'm very lucky!

Marcee wasn't the only thing around our house Granny helped to look cute. She bought me these three cute cupcakes from Hobby Lobby. I just loved them on my dresser that I use to store my china in!

Granny also made me some adorable napkins for my table. Yes, she amazing... think I'll keep her around! :)

So, my Valentine's Day was picture perfect! Marcee was precious... as usual! :) And, JT and I even went on a date... well, a double date. We went to Prattville to a movie and dinner. It was a wonderful day!

Snowy Day

Marcee got to see her first snow yesterday! We woke up around 6 and it was coming down hard. I just had to take her out to get a few pictures... just for a few minutes.

She wanted to play in it so bad!


It was really beautiful!

Marcee's 7 Months Old!

Wow... Time sure flies by! As hard as it is to believe our little princess turned 7 months old last Thursday. It's really hard to think that in just 5 months we'll be having her first birthday party. She really is growing up way to fast! She's definitely not a little baby any more. She's all over the place now and is pulling up all by herself. She is going to be walking in no time. Sometimes I think she's not my child... I was just content laying on the floor. Not this one, she's full of energy! We just can't wait for it to warm up some more outside so we can get out and play. She sure loves riding in her new Cozy Coupe!

She also likes playing in Daddy's jeep... Who said JT needed a boy?!?!
